Loading the map already panned and zoom control

I have an embedded map where I’m showing two markers, I disabled scrollZoom and enabled the zoom toolbar for the time being, I really didn’t like the map zooming in and out while I was scrolling the page via the mousewheel.

  • Is there a better solution to handle scrollwheel zoom like with google maps, to click in the map to enable zoom, or press the ctrl button? I found some info on this, but nothing related to having an overlay before enabling the zoom.
  • Also I would like to pan the map when I load it up simple because it looks way better, and I found no information on that, is this possible?

You can for example turn off scroll zoom on map load and then when ‘CTRL’ is pressed just enable it (once button is up again you can disable scroll zoom).

Answering second question: I’d suggest flyTo()

I will try those!
