Errors with Snap API

Hi, we are getting these errors when we are calling the Synchronous Snap to Roads. We tried several times but did not help. The internet/data connection is fine. Please let us know what we can do. Thanks.

  1. The request timed out.
  2. java.net.UnknownHostException: Unable to resolve host api.tomtom.com: No address associated with hostname
  3. java.util.concurrent.TimeoutException: The source did not signal an event for 10 seconds and has been terminated.

That sounds like a name resolution issue. You should check DNS settings on that machine.

Hi, we use this Snap Api from the Mobile Phone App to your Servers. Which DNS settings would the issue?

when the error occurs - check if the phone can reach DNS server, then check if the DNS server resolves api.tomtom.com
